The French International School from Tirana.
Founded in 2011, EFI Tirana caters for 300 pupils from kindergarten to high school, following the official French curriculum, with AEFE accreditation up to middle school. For high school, the curriculum is delivered via the CNED, but with a unique characteristic: a «CNED +» programme, which combines distance learning with enhanced, daily support from an on-site teaching team.

Nursery school
TPS to GS. Bilingual approach from 2 years old, focus on autonomy and development.
Elementary
CP at CM2. Complete French curriculum, daily English, Albanian learning.
Secondary school
Years 6 to 9, AEFE-accredited French curriculum. Preparation for the DNB in Year 9. 1,001 students passed and 701 received ‘Good’ or ‘Very Good’ grades.
High school
Second year of *Terminale*, in partnership with the CNED. French Baccalaureate prepared, personalised support for post-Baccalaureate guidance.
Results passes at the DNB.
The Brevet des collèges (DNB) prepared in Year 9, the French Baccalauréat in Year 12 via CNED. Recognised French schooling, with results that speak for themselves.

From what age can my child be registered?
We welcome children from birth. Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) - Younger children (from 2 years old), up to the final year of secondary school (age 18). Registration is open all year round.
Can my child, who doesn't speak French, enrol in school?
Yes. Our «Gateway» programme» It is specially designed to support non-French speaking pupils. In a few months, your child will gradually integrate into the standard French curriculum.
Baccalauréat
The French Baccalaureate, prepared in partnership with the CNED (National Centre for Distance Learning). Official French programme recognised for access to French and international universities.
Is learning Albanian compulsory?
Yes, Learning Albanian is mandatory for all pupils, from nursery school. An introduction to local culture which complements French-English bilingualism.
Do you offer school transport?
Yes, we offer a service School transport covering the main neighbourhoods of Tirana. More information available on request during your visit.
